Eden Gate have worked closely with Newport City Council and The Wallwich and to provide a place of safety for the street homeless.
At 5am. on February 18th 2022 when Newport was on red alert as Storm Eunice threatened lives and property, Eden Gate doors were open, ready to welcome anyone who needed refuge.
The Wallwich provided a hot breakfast and other refreshments were made available during the day by Eden Gate, alongside the availability of a hot shower.
